About Me

I’m Angie, the founder of Heggie Leadership Development, and I believe leaders can be both highly effective and at ease. I know that can sound impossible inside fast-moving, high-pressure environments. But I’ve seen that when leaders gain clarity, space, and steadiness, their effectiveness increases, not decreases. Ease isn’t the absence of pressure, it is the internal capacity to navigate it well.

My own career shaped this belief. During my years in sales and marketing leadership, I realized that the work that mattered most to me was helping people grow, think clearly, and succeed in demanding environments. That passion is what eventually led me into coaching and leadership development as my dedicated path.

As a parent and a leader myself, I understand the complexity of balancing meaningful work with a meaningful life. I know what it’s like to carry significant responsibility, manage competing priorities, and want to lead others well without losing yourself in the process. These experiences influence how I support leaders, teams, and organizations today.

Before founding Heggie, I held leadership roles with Procter & Gamble and Bristol-Myers Squibb, and later built my own business. I bring this experience together with advanced coaching credentials from the International Coaching Federation and neuroscience-informed approaches to help people unlock their leadership potential with clarity, confidence, and grounded presence.

Whether I am coaching an individual leader or partnering with HR and OD teams to design group and team development, my focus is the same: to help people think clearly, relate wisely, and lead in ways that create sustainable impact for themselves and the systems they serve.
